# Physical cards

> Order production and delivery of physical cards, track shipping status, and set or unblock the card PIN with an encrypted PIN block.

| Order status | Meaning |
| - | - |
| `pending` | Received. Can still be cancelled. |
| `processing` | In production. |
| `shipped` | Handed to the carrier. |
| `delivered` | Delivered. |
| `cancelled` | Cancelled before production. |

## PIN

PINs are never sent or stored in plain text. To set a PIN, build an ISO 9564 format 4 PIN block, encrypt it with the PIN key issued to your account and send it as `encrypted_pin_block` to [Set PIN](/api-reference/pin/set-pin).

After too many wrong attempts the PIN status becomes `blocked`. Call [Unblock PIN](/api-reference/pin/unblock-pin) after verifying the cardholder.
