POST requests that create objects accept an Idempotency-Key header. If a request with the same key is repeated, the API returns the result of the first request instead of creating a second object.
  • Use a UUID v4 or another random value up to 255 characters.
  • Keys expire after 24 hours.
  • Reusing a key with a different request body returns 409.
The header is supported on: create customer, create card, replace card, provision to a wallet, order a physical card and create a dispute.
